According to the organizers, this year’s event will focus on creating awareness of the massive digital revolution taking place in Africa and encouraging the participants to pursue business opportunities and partnerships in the continent.

Mr. Okere’s presentation, which is titled “Digital Africa: Transforming the Continent” will be followed by a Question and Answer session.

According to Victor Muo, President of IE Business School’s Africa Club, the choice of Mr. Okere as the keynote speaker is based on his passion for promoting the digitization of Africa, his active participation on national and global economic committees and his exploits in mentoring entrepreneurs through non-profit organizations and the academia.

“The recognition of CWG as a Global Growth Company by the World Economic Forum also reflects his visionary leadership in leading one of Africa´s biggest IT companies”, he noted.

The conference enjoys a swell attendance composed of students, faculty and administrative staff, diplomats, business executives and participants from other parts of the globe. It serves as a platform for networking as well as engendering genuine interest in impacting Africa.
